Antimicrobial activity of royal jelly, honey, and their mixture

As antimicrobial drugs destroy microorganisms or stop their growth, they are used to treat infections. Due the increasing resistance of infectious agents drugs, there is a need find new natural products with properties. Natural such as bee honey, propolis, pollen, bread, and royal jelly important numerous different active biological features, antiviral among them. The aim this study was investigate effect jelly, mixture honey on gram-positive gram-negative bacteria, spore fungus Candida albicans. Royal were collected in Lithuanian apiaries. activity honey-royal (9% solution) determined using ‘well’ method diffusion into agar.
